Tourist Attractions

Gran Canaria has many sights and attractions. Visitors can take a tour of the La Roque Nublo, the Palacio Episcopal, or the ancient Tara y Cendro caves.

La Roque Nublo means 'the rock cloud.' It is a massive monolith more than 80 metres in height. Going up its peak is worth it because the view there is breathtaking.

The Palacio Episcopal is the bishop's palace. Visitors are welcome from 08:30 to 13:30 and the admission is free of charge.

The Tara y Cendro caves are a series of caves that island settlers used to live in before the arrival of the Spanish in the 15th century. The combination of human work and volcanic activity has made the caves a wondrous sight to behold.
